Surkyl started with a simple frustration: making music is hard enough without juggling ten different apps for storage, collaboration, distribution, and marketing. Every independent artist we talked to was spending more time on logistics than on their art.
So we started building. MueSync is our flagship product, a music platform that handles everything from ideation to release in one place. But MueSync is just the beginning. The infrastructure we built to power it (AI routing, identity, messaging, project management) turned out to be useful for a lot more than music.
Today, Surkyl is a small team building a big platform. Every product we ship, from NanX (developer tools) to Hyps (smart links) to Butler (system maintenance), runs on the same foundation. One codebase, one identity system, one AI layer. We believe the best software comes from a unified stack, not a patchwork of acquisitions.
We're bootstrapped, profitable-by-design, and focused on building for 1,000 paying users who stay for life — not 1,000,000 free signups who churn.
